| | Posted : 06 Sep 2021 - 11:05 Post title : T'Bird and Universal Accessories | | | With a heavy heart I recently sold my 2010 Thunderbird 1700. I sold the bike as it was configured at the time. So now I am sitting on several nice accessories and a couple of spare parts.
The items are located in Southeast Michigan. I can easily ship to the lower 48 states. However, I expect the windshield and tour trunk will be costly to ship (possibly oversized). Shipping is additional. I think the prices are fair.
There is one picture of each item in the photo album. I can send some more if you are interested in a specific item., just PM me Note, there are some strange pictures in my photo album that I did not post, but I can't figure out how to delete them.

. THUNDERBIRD SPECIFIC ACCESSORIES AND PARTS
TRIUMPH Lower Air Deflectors (A9741047): Very good condition. These, combined with the Clearview shield made a great combo (for me anyways) to provide a very comfortable "pocket of quiet air" for highway touring. $50.00 
TRIUMPH Luggage Rack, with homemade adapters to install on the QR bracket without the sissy bar if desired (A9750570): Very good condition. $50.00 
HIGHWAY HAWK "V-Bar" Chrome Spotlight Bracket (HH-686-200): Very good condition, includes two cheap but effective chrome spot lights. $45.00 
KAOKO Throttle Lock (112437): Excellent condition. $50.00 
CLEARVIEW SHIELDS Large Clear Recurve with Vent Windshield (TRI-TB16-400-0L-00-SPV-RV): Good condition, no major scratches, clear vision, rub marks where the Triumph badge on the mount rubbed on the windshield. Note: this requires the Triumph QR windshield mount from the earlier years with four bolts per side on the vertical bracket arms. Does not include the mount. The vent really helped with buffeting. $75.00 
RIVCO Risers: Not the best condition, chrome is chipped at the base, but fine above the base. $15.00 
TRIUMPH Right Throttle Tube/Grip (from T2043718): I had the factory grip heaters and the throttle tube broke at the pull cable connection. I was nearly stranded 300 miles from home, but managed to attached the pull cable to the push cable connection point and limp home with a 2200 RPM idle! (Triumph should have recalled these) I bought a spare non-heated grip kit to keep in my toolkit just in case it ever broke again. I have the throttle tube, still looking for the left side grip. 
. UNIVERSAL ACCESSORIES
KURYAKYN Premium Passenger Chrome Foot Boards (4351) and Splined Adapter Mount (8808): Good shape, some "peg scraping" rash on the bottom. I used these for passenger foot boards. $50.00 
RIDE Vivid Black Classic Tour Trunk(Ride_LTP_Chromerack-VIVID): Good condition, a couple of scuffs only, no deep scratches or gouges. The trunk is hinged in the back, which I found to be a nice feature....I could put an overstuffed seat bag on the pillion seat, yet still easily open the trunk. (If it was hinged in the front the bag would have interfered with the lid). There are two lights mounted on the trunk with Stop/Tail/Turn functions, wired to a 4 pole flat connector. It will include the unused chrome rack if I can find it. $75.00 
MOTO-PAK Magnetic Tank Bag: This is the tank bag I finally settled on. Not too big or too small, quality zippers and two handy side pockets. Clear panel rain cover. About 8"W x 10"L by 5"H. $45.00 
DOWCO Fastrax Rallye Value Series Magnetic Tank Bag: About 9"W x 11"L x 5"H. Hardly used, with rain cover. $25.00 
DOWCO Magnetic Tank Bag: About 9"W x 11"L x 6"H. Hardly used, no rain cover. $15.00 
TOURMASTER Intake Air 2 Hi-Viz Mesh Jacket: OK condition, never in a fall, but it has a small burn mark on one sleeve, and the back is a bit faded. Includes all armor as well as the insulated liner and rain/wind liner. Size: Medium. Tourmaster jackets seem to run large, I wear a size 42 coat, and this medium fits great. $50.00

Just wanted to say it's a pleasure to have a site like this and folks like rac3850 to buy gear from with confidence. Great purchasing experience and can't wait to knock off work and get the spanners out! I've never had cruise/throttle lock on a bike before so particularly keen to try that out asap.

Found the left grip to go with the throttle side grip. It is now a pair of unused standard OEM grips. $10.00 plus shipping.
